The Chesapeake Arts Center is a non-profit multi-purpose facility dedicated to the literary, visual and performing arts. Located in southern Baltimore city, it houses the 900-seat Main Stage, the 110-seat Studio Theatre, gallery space, resident artists' studios and instructional classrooms, including a dance studio, ceramics studio and a piano lab. Opening its doors January 2001, the Chesapeake Arts Center's mission is to provide culturally diverse and rewarding experiences in the arts.
